Chad and I (Amanda) began dating 5 years ago. We bought a house together shortly after that in beautiful Manchester, TN. Chad was born and raised in Manchester and I was born and raised in Cookeville, TN. Between the two of us we have 4 beautiful kids. 3 boys and a girl and we can’t forget our furbaby miniature schnauzer.

In January of 2022 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. In March, I began taking my first of 6 dose dense chemo treatments. This went on until July 1st. In August of 2022 I had a double mastectomy and took medical leave from my full time job. By October I was feeling back to normal for the most part just tired very easily. But…. I decided I needed to find something to do when I did feel good! So, Chad was at work one day and I text him and said “what do you think about starting a candle business? Everybody loves candles”. To which he replied “what?” He then told me if that’s what I wanted to do we would give it a try. Needless to say by the time he got home I had already ordered everything we needed for our little business. We sold some candles here and there, sat up a few craft shows and got our candles in a few businesses and we thought we were doing great!

In November of 2022 I started 28 rounds of radiation so we slowed down a little during that but our business was still doing pretty good! After the first of the year we branched out to other products! We look forward to continuing to branch out in the business and offer our customers the best products for all their fragrance needs!
